Teaching Philosophy

Objective

Through my teaching, I hope to deliver essential information about technology to students in a clear and concise way. I will strive to make this information helpful and intuitive so students can continue to use this information outside of classrooms. In this technology driven world, I believe this information will set up my students for success.

How?

I will achieve my objective of providing quintessential information about technology to students by providing them the abundance of information I gathered about tech throughout my life. I self-studied technology using online resources my whole life and received a formal education in Computer Science in university. Using this knowledge, I well create engaging presentations and interactive activities that will teach students the power of technology.

Effectiveness

I will measure the success of my teaching techniques by assessing the knowledge of my students. This is the only true way to judge the effectiveness of my teaching. I will give out weekly assessments or quizzes testing what was taught in order to make sure that students are understanding the concepts. I will also maintain an open line of communication with students and encourage them to come to me with questions. These strategies will insure that student understand and retain the valuable information I teach.

Why?

I am passionate about educating students in technology because I believe it is vital for our future. Students will eventually grow up and become the leaders that promote growth and drive humanity in a positive direction. I am certain that technology is the key that will unlock new possibilities for us in the future. If I am able to train students to understand the power of technology, they will use this knowledge to make new discoveries and create new things that will be beneficial for us all.
